Art As Therapy

The first grade students in visual arts class had the opportunity to learn about jewelry making. Cody Mitchey volunteered his mom, Regina Mitchey for Show-N-Tell Art. Regina designs jewelry for therapeutic and fun reasons. She shared numerous art and design concepts, techniques and equipment with the children. The students created a bracelet with materials donated by the Mitchey family and other community members. Regina volunteers her time with many classes at our new Evergreen Elementary School. Her extra efforts, time and donations have benefitted the children here. Thank you Cody and Regina Mitchey. Your involvement and support makes a world of difference to the educational process at Evergreen Elementary School.
